Risk Profile

Investment Objectives & Strategy

The objectives of the Fund are to provide regular income and long-term capital appreciation through prudent investment management. Funds collected under the scheme will be invested in encashable or transferable securities, whether in the capital or money markets, privately placed debentures, preferential shares, or securitized debts.

Not more than 25% of the total assets of the Fund will be invested in Fixed Income Securities (FIS). Additionally, at least 75% of the total assets of the Fund will be allocated to capital market instruments, with a minimum of 50% of this portion invested in listed securities.

Price Fixation Policy

The sale and repurchase prices of units are determined based on the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the Fund. The NAV per unit is calculated weekly by dividing the net asset value of the Fund by the total number of units outstanding. The Net Asset Value of the Fund is computed by deducting total liabilities from total assets, and securities are valued according to criteria approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission, as per rule 58 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Mutual Fund) Rules, 2001.

The NAV calculated on a particular date sets the repurchase price of units and remains effective until the next NAV calculation. Currently, there is a Tk. 5.00 per unit difference between the sale and repurchase prices.
